Sir Tom told us that this blog is still going to be our 2nd quarter project. So I made some changes in my blog (or maybe not some but huge) to make it "cooler" and more "awesome" like what Sir Tom said.
I was bored and I have nothing to do so I changed my background and my header. (obviously)
I also started posting now because I don't want again to happen what happened last quarter when we were like going crazy because it was already 12 MN and we haven't subbmited our blog. (Luckily, Sir still accepted it) Though that was stressful, it was fun because of Nadine and Irish. I remembered, we slept at nearly 3 AM because of that. HAHA

(1) Systematic Systems
The system is a procedure that involves input, process and output.
INPUT- putting in the data using input hardwares:

- microphone, etc
PROCESS- processing and manipulating of the data that was put in (that's the CPU's job)
OUTPUT- presentation of information to the user in different forms using output hardwares:
- monitor
- speakers
- printer, etc.
FEEDBACK- this will affect the another input

(1) OVERTIME!
We had our recent practical exam. It was
all about using the MS word. When I started the activity, I was working easily
and well. Then when I was nearly done, I scrolled the moodle web page downwards
then I saw that there are already assigned chapter names and topics. I made my
own! We were even required to add sentences so I panicked. (Hindi halata sa
blog post na ‘to)
There was only 20 minutes left and I was
still at the first chapter. Good thing, I found dummies.com so I got the
information from there. I have only done 2 topics, the cover, table of contents
and bibliography. I had some troubles at the header. Ugh. -_-

Using the DOS is one of the coolest things
that I learned in Com. Sci. Finally, I understand the things my uncle types on
our computer like MD (create directory), REN (rename), RD (remove or delete
directory), CD.. (back), and DIR (display list of files in the current
directory)
I can replace him now! Bwahahahahaha!

Data Encryption is the translation of data
into secret symbols called cipher text.
People use this to secure files like in
government agencies like CIA.
Data Decryption is the changing back of
cipher text to plain text.
Just like what they do in spy movies. They
decrypt secret codes to figure out evidence.

(1) Compression :)
Data compression is compressing files to become smaller thus easier to transfer to another computer and space is saved.
Just like making acronyms. We can for a acronym by using the beginning letters of the words in the name of companies, schools and things like that so it can be easier to pronounce or mention in letters.
There are many programs that can be used to compress files like StuffIt and WinAce.

(1) "Back Up! Need Back Up!"
Don't we have it when something very important is lost? Like when saving a project then suddenly the disk is formatted. The feeling when all your hardworks was put in that project then, BOOM, all of that, LOST in a second.
There s a simple way to prevent yourself from blaming whoever formatted the disk and incidents like this. Backing Up files is just saving a copy of the file on a disk. By doing so, you'll never have to worry or throw tantrums when a project is lost.
When I connect an Apple device to our computer, iTunes immediately asks for the back up of the files in the gadget in case it gets deleted while updating the software version of the device. Like a Girl Scout, "Laging Handa!" :)

Well, I was wrong.
Based on what I have researched and read, data format is how the information is organized in the data and how it is presented to the user. For example, a PUB file can easily opened as a MS Publisher File.
File extensions are just the letters at the end of the file name that is preceded by a dot(.) so we can easily determine the file type.

Of course, files also have their own corresponding program so they can function and used by us, the users. Just like Fire Princess, she lives at the Fire Kingdom where there is fire everywhere so she can survive and Finn live in a tree house because he is a monkey. (HUH)

A computer is really complicated. Because of its complicated-ness, it could work like the human brain. Except for their form, computers and the human brain have many similarities: they control systems, process data and are used by people.
Despite of having many similarities, computers can not exceed the strength of the human brain. There are still many faculties that only the human brain can do. They are the only ones that can detect emotions and can make decisions in life.
Most of all, the human brain is different and unique from computers because it is made by God that's why it is a blessing to the people who have it. Because of having this, we should use this wisely and learn to be an independent thinker instead of always depending on computers." Ninja said.
