Softwares are part of the ICT system that gives instructions to the computer.
There are different types of software that can be used on the computer.
One type is the File Organization Software. These softwares are the ones used when browsing through files in our computer. Softwares of this type can also be used in organizing and managing files.
Office Applications are (obviously) applications that are commonly used in offices. They have different uses. Some are used for making business letters, making presentations and many more.
The one you are using now is a type of Web Service Software. Web services soft wares require an internet connection to operate.
