People learn etiquettes to make then look good and respected by other people. Our parents taught us these while we were growing up. From eating to answering phones, we need etiquette.

In the world of internet, etiquette is also required for a person to fit in. Etiquette on the internet is called netiquette. Netiquette is a set or rules for behaving properly online.

In the internet, we must watch what we are posting or saying because we might not know, we are already hurting someone with the words we say. Before posting anything, think of the posible results of your post. If it has a negative effect, stop. Avoid flame wars.

Also, we must keep or anonymomity in the internet. We must avoid revealing every information about us for it might be used by other people for forgery.

After learning about netiquette, I finally know the do's and don't s in the internet. Now, I can make myself look good online.
